Hello,

Anyone know about 'phone voice encryption ?

I found this site on the web, which seems to show that some software on
sale to do this is unsafe, and it shows someone hacking into an
encrypted phone.

What do people here think about this ?

Thanks,
Julie.

I've never played around with "Goldlock", so can't comment on its security,
but:

"Hacking into an encrypted phone"?

No.

If watch the first couple of minutes of the youtube video the
"www.infosecurityguard.com" guy posted, it's patently obvious that he did
no such thing.

The claims he makes wrt "taking advantage of the vulnerability" are more
than a little suspect as well... Unless you're the sort who runs any and
all attachments you get emailed!

Old news!

So old there are sites with a cookbook implementation (e.g.,
http://reflextor.com/trac/a51/wiki/RunningTheProgram)

If you want to download the rainbow tables (about 2 TB!!!)
they're on http://reflextor.com/torrents/

Regards,

PS Google Karsten Nohl for *many* examples such as the
following:
